The Nomad Connecticut Fuerte is the result of a two-your journey that left my ego shattered and rebuilt.
I didn’t want “just another” Connecticut cigar on the market…it had to be something “different.”
I also, naively enough, thought blending a Connecticut cigar would be a piece of cake. I mean, I did blend the Esteli Lot 1386 and it made lots of “best of” list for 2013. Surely that HAD to be tougher than working on a Connecticut right? Wrong.
Connecticut is tough.
Sure if you want some boring one-dimensional cigar…that would be easy. If you want something different, willing to spend the time, and seek out quality tobacco…different story altogether.
Forget the rules, forget the ratings.
This is not your fathers Connecticut cigar. No, it is not going to kill your palate, but it is going to make you notice it and enjoy a whole other level of flavor. Oh sure, the ratings are in the 90’s…but what really matters is a great cigar smoking experience.
